Larry Warnock is the Founding Partner of Ring Ventures, a for-profit venture capital firm under the Alumni Ventures umbrella. With decades of experience as a venture-backed CEO and investor, Larry has established himself as a visionary leader with an exceptional track record of guiding companies through critical growth phases and market disruption.

Larry's entrepreneurial journey includes successful tenures as President & CEO of Olono (acquired by InsightSquared), CEO of Gazzang (acquired by Cloudera), and CEO of Phurnace (acquired by BMC Software).

Before focusing on venture capital, Larry served as a Venture Partner at AVLabs, the incubator fund of Austin Ventures, following his move from Silicon Valley to Texas. His executive career spans sales and marketing leadership roles at influential technology companies including Documentum, OnLink, Siebel, and Vignette.
